Recipe for a Mini-Meal - Bhel Puri or Indian Potato Salad
Serves 6 or more depending on how much of Hot Mixx is sprinkled on the potato salad
Ingredients
1 package Hot Mixx
2 large potato or 6 small potatoes boiled, peeled and diced
1 red onion, very finely chopped
1 cup diced tomato
1 cup diced cucumber
6 tbsp. cilantro finely minced
tamarind chutney for the dressing
Cilantro chutney for the dressing
juice of 1 lime for the dressing - optional
Method
1 Serve in individual plates similar to soup bowls with a flat bottom.
2 Arrange in layers. First put the ¼ boiled potato, then tomatoes, cucomber and onion, then 1/4 bhel mixture.
3 Add the tamarind chutney, cilantro chutney and garnish with cilantro
4 Adjust the lime juice
Serve with lemonade or limeade or hot tea.
