Shipping and Return Policies
All orders placed after noon CST will be processed the following business day with the exception of overnight orders and orders which contain items that are currently out of stock. Customers planning to place an overnight order must call to place their order with an actual representative. Customer representatives are available to help you Monday-Friday, 9-4pm CST at (952)593-3000.
Indian Foods Company uses both UPS and USPS to deliver all packages inside the continental U.S, Hawaii, Alaska and all US territories. The day we ship your order from our store is not counted by UPS or USPS. No deliveries are either picked or shipped from our facility to you on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) and holidays.
It is the customer’s responsibility to provide the correct shipping address, phone number and email address. Incorrect information may delay the shipment or may not be deliverable by UPS or USPS. Please verify that you have entered the correct shipping information, including suite and apartment numbers, or you may be charged a penalty imposed by UPS.
Once your order and address is entered the system will calculate your shipping charges based on the information you have entered- (weight and address). You will have a chance to confirm or cancel your order later.
After you shop and checkout; you will receive an email notification stating that your order is in process. We will then proceed to pick and pack your order for shipment. If all items are in stock we will send your order out. We will hold your order for out of stock items and try our best to get them and fulfill your order. If we are unable to procure out of stock items we will refund you for the difference and then send your order out. Once the order has been shipped, you will be notified via email with a tracking number from UPS or USPS.
Tracking Your Order
Depending on your delivery address, your shipment should be delivered in approximately three to seven business days once it has left our facility. For your convenience, you can use your UPS or USPS tracking number to track the progress of your shipment via UPS or USPS websites.
At this time we only ship orders to Canada and the US Territories.
Shipping to PO Boxes and Military Addresses (APO, FPO)
United States Postal Service is the only delivery service that will deliver your order to a PO Box or Military address.
Fresh Items and Indian/Persian Sweets
- Our Indian/Persian traditional sweets are made fresh and are also handmade. Therefore their shapes, sizes, color and availability are subject to change.
- Shipments may be delayed due to fresh inventory levels, shipping and the weather.
- You must select UPS Next Day Air for Bengali and milk based sweets.
- WE ONLY SHIP SWEETS AND FRESH ITEMS ON MONDAYS AND TUESDAYS DUE TO THEIR PERISHABLE NATURE.
- Fresh Bengali Sweet, Motichoor Laddoo and Chickpea Cookies are very fragile and may break during shipping so please keep this in mind when ordering these items. We are not responsible for breakage of these items during shipment.
We encourage perishable orders to be delivered to a business or commercial address. We are not responsible or liable for deliveries where the customer is not available to receive the order. All perishable food orders are final and no returns are taken.
All sales on groceries and beauty items are considered final due to health purposes. Unless you have received an incorrect order, we do not accept returns. If you have received incorrect items in your order, please call Customer Service between 9am-4pm CST at (952) 593-3000. Your inquiry will be promptly returned within 48 hours.
Undeliverable or Refused Packages
If you are unable to receive your order or have given the incorrect address you will be charged for the re-shipment of any orders returned to us, as well as any additional charges that Indian Foods Company incurs. Please make sure to double check and verify your address on each order you place with us. We are not responsible for shipments that are returned to us as undeliverable, refused or unclaimed.
UPS Address Correction Fee
Please be sure to provide your correct shipping address (including apartment number, etc). If an address correction is required to deliver your package, UPS charges an Address Correction Fee of $12.00 for Ground packages and $13 for Air and International packages. By ordering on our site, you agree to pay this fee if you provide the wrong address or if you change the shipping address after your package has been shipped. This charge will be billed separately to the credit card used for your order.
