Buying Philosophy

At Indian foods we are driven by our mission which is to be selective of what we sell.   There are many many products out there we source out products that have real quality and promote delight in your kitchen and health and wellness of the person as well as the planet.  Our selection includes many family owned brands, along with many regionally produced items.  Many of our products are made right here in USA.

Kavita is committed to good living and brings this commitment to her company.  Kavita also believes that wellness and truly good cooking start in the market.  She strives to choose products that can create good food.   She believes it is important to choose the best and the freshest ingredients to maintain youth and good health. 

At present there are not many Indian products that are organic and we are in the process of changing this.  We have asked our manufacturers to make the products organic for us.  In instances where we cannot source out organic products we are in the process of making our own.

We carry Indian nutritional and herbal products, including vitamins, supplements and other natural remedies, as well as a wide variety of hair and skin care products that are based on Ayurveda which is an ancient science of longevity and health and wellness.

Our Philosophy

We need to keep our body healthy after all we live in it.  Taking care of the micro body also automatically takes care of our macro body which is the earth.   By making informed food purchasing decisions, we can support more sustainable agriculture methods. Choosing organic food, supporting local farmers, family businesses and buying non-genetically modified products, are ways we can use our hard earned dollars to improve the system and respect our planet Earth.
